Established in 2003, Photonic Sense GmbH inaugurated a state-of-the-art factory of 4000 square metres in Eisenach, Germany. Within a short period of growth, the company has emerged to become one of the world’s largest suppliers of Germanium and Silicon materials, and world leader of the technology.
A combination of experienced engineers and state-of-the-art equipment enable us to deliver just-in-time highest quality products. As a technology leader, Photonic Sense has developed unrivalled know-how in the Czochralski pulling of high-quality Germanium monocrystals.
Since Apr 2006, we are a fully owned subsidiary of Jenoptik
Laser Optik Systeme GmbH (Jena, Germany). |

Our customers are mostly high-end optical systems players in diverse markets and are global. So we make sure our supply chain system is tight and reliable. From our production facility in Germany, we export just-in-time to our customers in North America, Europe and Asia. We have marketing offices in the respective regions to provide our existing and new customers with delivery and technical support in their own time zones.
